Val Brevenna: Piancassina

The small village of Piancassina is 's last town accessible by road to the Valbrevenna.

At the end of the stock landing on a small square on which stands the small church dedicated to Our Lady of the Guard. (Altitude 1035 m above sea level.).

The village is divided into two distinct clusters: the first is by a number of houses along the path that comes from Chiappa, while the second, much older, is located immediately downstream of the small church dating back to the 'year 1863.
